The present study was designed to investigate the mediating and moderating role of executive functions ( inhibition and shifting), working memory (verbal and visual memory) in female stuent of fifth grade of elementary school .Method : through partial correlation and statistical control and regression analysis data were analyzed.200 participants took four cognitive tests :Wechsler verbal memory Test ,spatial –visual memory Ray Test , Wiscancin sorting cards Test , Stroop Test and they filled the Revised math anxiety scale rating .Results: statistical control of verbal working memory and inhibition and shifting decreased the relation between math anxiety an math performance.and by regression analysis none of variables have significant model on math performance . Discussion: verbal working memory, inhibition and shifting took the mediating role in relation between math anxiety and math performance and none of variabls were moderator in relation between math anxiety and math performance.
